Merrill Lynch's Latin American investment trust has posted strong gains during its first period under the group's management, with Nav growth of 46% in dollar terms over 12 months to 31 December. On a share price basis, the trust grew 59% over the same period. The vehicle moved from F&C to BlackRock Mlim last April, after previous manager Rupert Brandt left the group to join Findlay Park.
