Lazard MD and head of UK equities Tony Willis is retiring at the end of February next year in search of opportunities outside the industry. The 48-year-old's fund management responsibilities will be taken over by fellow MD and portfolio manager Alan Custis, primarily on UK Alpha and UK Omega. He will work with Alan Clifford and other senior colleagues, including Paul Mangat, who is senior vice president and product specialist on the UK equities team.
