Family Assurance Friendly Society has launched an insurance Isa to tap into the pool of unused Isa entitlement for those who have already invested in mini equity and mini cash Isas, but who have steered clear of insurance Isas. The Family Isa Bond is being offered as a simple lump sum product of £1,000, with an initial charge of 5% and an annual fund charge of 1%. It will invest in the Family Capital Builde, a life fund fully invested in the Family Asset Trust. The trust is managed by Alan Perkins at Family Assurance's asset management arm, Pavilion.
