Old Mutual Asset Management (OMAM) is converting 19 unit trusts into an oeic structure and merging a number of vehicles that have similar objectives and management. OMAM currently has one oeic but plans to convert its range of unit trusts on a dual pricing basis in a revamp of the fund range. Simon Wilson, head of marketing at OMAM, said the restructure was to better position the range for clients.
