Gartmore’s Tim Callaghan is the latest manager to be considering his future with the group following plans to restructure the European desk. The fund range is being reviewed with a view to merge some of the vehicles, which will impact Callaghan’s role. Head of the Europe desk Stephen Jones will oversee Callaghan’s funds, including European Focus, until his future is decided. In June 2006 Investment Week reported Gartmore fought to keep Callaghan, who was considering leaving to head up Resolution’s European team.
