Forsyth Partners has downgraded and withdrawn ratings for three Asian funds on the back of poor performance. Invesco Perpetual Asian Equity was downgraded from a AAA to AA, while the agency has removed ratings from the Schroder ISF Pacific Equity and Vontobel Far East Equity vehicles. The agency said that although it still has faith in the manager’s ability on the Invesco Perpetual fund, it has underperformed in recent time frames and the group fails to see how it can deliver the risk-adjusted returns expected from a AAA fund.
