The Dow Jones is up in early trading today adding 107.69 points or 1.34% to 8124.64. Citigroup is leading the upside on the index so far gaining 4.84% to $3.03 despite regulators warning the bank it may need to raise more capital. Bank of America is also up this morning, despite also being warned it will need to raise cash, by 2.70% to $8.37. General Motors added 2.76% to $1.86, having launched its latest survival bid earlier this week. Pfizer is the only clear loser so far this morning down 0.45% to $13.33.
