Brian Boyd has joined Fidelity as business development director for the multi-manager business. Boyd has previously held positions with HSBC, the Bank of Bermuda and JP Morgan. He will work alongside Phil Morse, who joined Fidelity as business development director in August last year. Fidelity announced its multi-manager business international expansion in September, alongside the launch of 12 new European multi-manager Sicavs. Meanwhile, Merrill Lynch has named Dominic Liversedge as a portfolio manager for its pan-European Global Private Client discretionary business.
