Dalton Strategic Partnership (DSP) is launching an onshore version of its Melchior Selected Trust Japan Advantage Sicav on 3 December. DSP outsources management of both funds to FuNNex, with Keizo Iguchi as chief portfolio manager and Akira Yoshimi responsible for final asset allocation decisions. The fund’s investment focus is on achieving relative return from value equity stocks, particularly those with low P/E ratios. Iguchi believes deep value stocks with low P/Es tend to outperform the market and tries to identify earnings drivers for the companies he holds over a two-year view. ...
