Norwich Union is preparing to move the Norwich UK Income Opportunities fund back into the IMA UK equity Income sector. Since Morley manager Dan Roberts took over the fund from Ian Lancaster at the end of 2007 he has made several changes to the remit, bringing it into line with the IMA sector requirements. The £32m fund has been unclassified under the previous manager, as its small-cap bias meant it was not hitting the necessary yield target for inclusion in the Equity Income sector.
