Old Mutual has made two appointments on its fixed-interest team. Chris Palmer, previously a credit specialist at Elgin Capital, has been appointed co-manager of the group’s Dynamic Bond fund alongside Andrew Tunks. Rachid Semaoune, previously a trader at Gulf International Bank, is now deputy manager of the Old Mutual Corporate Bond fund under Stephen Snowden. Tunks said: “They will play a key role in the management of our fixed interest funds during what should prove to be an exciting period for the asset class.”
