The Association of Independent Financial Advisers (AIFA) has revealed the results of an initiative designed to improve transparency and avoid accusations of misselling in with-profits schemes. The ‘Stakes in the Ground’ (SITG) project monitored 564 advisory firms to see how advice is given and record business practices, with a view to helping firms resolve future disputes.
