Premier Asset Management has launched a Renewable Energy Fund aiming to provide long-term capital growth. The Guernsey-registered closed-ended investment company will invest in proven renewable energy sources, and assets will be split equally between wind, hydro, solar and nuclear power. It will be managed by Andrew Whalley and Kevin Scutt. At an EGM this month, the group decided to allow investors in the European Utilities Trust to roll over their shares into the new vehicle.
