Recently-launched firm Matterley is bringing a concentrated UK vehicle to the market. Matterley Undervalued Returns was internally launched in mid-August, seeded with £3m of partners' money. It will hold 40-50 stocks, 30% of which can be invested overseas. Run by former New Star manager Henry Dixon, it seeks out companies where the returns on capital are undervalued or are trading at a material discount to replacement cost. Dixon uses strict buy and sell targets on the stocks he has high conviction in. For further details please see next Monday's Investment Week.
