Neptune is waiving the 5% initial charge on its £24m UK Equity fund, managed by Jeremy Smith. The discount is available in July and August. Smith has been running the fund since July 2006, after joining the firm from Schroders. The fund has retained a top quartile position over one year in the IMA UK All Companies sector since Smith assumed responsibility for the vehicle.
