Occam, the hedge fund boutique founded by Jonathan Hughes-Morgan, is making its much-anticipated move into the retail space by launching Asia and Europe vehicles. The group was launched last year by the Thames River Capital founder as a hedge fund outfit with an eye to eventual retail offerings. Occam Asian will be run by Mark Williams and Europe by Phil Cliff – both managers currently run hedge funds targeting these regions.
