Pre-X has launched Axcess EIS, the third fund its series, investing in solely pre-IPO companies. The vehicle will invest in a portfolio of around eight to 12 mature companies which are looking to reach an IPO or a trade sale. The company says there are two fundamental reasons why investment in EIS is good at this time. Firstly, company valuations have reduced significantly over the past year therefore allowing the scheme to buy into quality companies far cheaper than previously.
