Matrix has launched a closed end version of its open ended Asset Based 2 fund. The fund of funds invests in 28 underlying asset-backed lending managers who provide financing for mid-range companies. The fixed rate of interest generated by the loans gives superior non-correlated risk adjusted returns, according to Matrix. The new launch, Matrix Asset Based 2 Closed End Fund, will invest all of its assets in the retail sterling shares of Matrix Open Ended Asset Based 2.
