Bond funds saw the largest inflows of all retail funds last month, according to the latest figures from the IMA. Of the £414m net retail sales for March, £315m was invested in bond funds. The second most popular were balanced funds, which saw inflows of £65m, while equity funds took just £2m. The UK Corporate Bond sector was the most popular in the UK retail market with inflows of £242.4m.
