Ted Scott will return to F&C after a period of ill health but will not manage money. Scott is due to rejoin the F&C team in June where he will provide macro-economic analysis and advice on market strategy across the UK equities desk. Hilary Aldridge, who has been deputy fund manager alongside Scott on the F&C UK Growth & Income fund since 2005, and who has co-managed the fund on a caretaker basis since November 2008, has been appointed lead manager.
