Pearl has made a third offer for Resolution at 720p per share valuing the asset manager at £4.94bn. This is increased from 691p offered on 19 October and is 11.4p higher than Standard Life’s bid which valued each share at around 708.6p. Shareholders will also be able to retain the dividend of 9.17 pence per Resolution Share paid today if the Pearl offer is accepted.
