The FTSE 100 has opened more than 2% higher in early trading with miners and banks seeing double digit percentage gains this morning. At 8:30am, London's blue chip index was up 87.61 points, or 2.06%, to 4,330.83. Eurasian Natural Resources made the biggest increase, gaining 16.94% to sit at 725p, while Kazakhmys trailed close behind, soaring 15.68% to 682.50p. In the banking sector, both Royal Bank of Scotland and Lloyds Banking Group were among the top winners.
