Wall Street trading got off to a rocky start today, with the Dow Jones fluctuating through the morning and up just 2.04 points (0.02%) to 8,766.53 shortly before 11pm. Technology firms were boosted after chip maker Texas Instruments gave an upbeat outlook for future business prospects. Intel shares climbed 2.51% to $16.32, while IBM shares added 1.07% to $108.64. Consumer product manufacturers Kraft Food and Procter & Gamble saw their share prices fall, down 0.98% and 0.97% respectively.
