Aberdeen Asset Management has streamlined its fund range, moving all Irish-domiciled equity funds to its Luxembourg-domiciled umbrella. All equity funds now sit within the Aberdeen Global umbrella, which the group added UK distributor status to in April 2007. The equity range includes one emerging portfolio, two European and Global mandates each plus five single country funds. The $733.3m Emerging Markets fund is run by Devan Kaloo, head of Global Emerging Markets equities in London and works very closely with the Asia team headed by Hugh Young.
