Premier Fund Managers will take back management of its fund of investment trusts from SVM Asset Management this July. The management of the £31m Premier Enterprise fund will be handed to Nigel Sidebottom, who heads the firm’s closed-ended fund business and manages portfolios within four of Premier’s investment trusts. The fund was contracted to JO Hambro Capital Management (JOHCM), which in turn sub-delegated its management to Colin McLean and Donald Robertson at SVM. The two were handed management of the fund in summer 2002 after previous manager Peter Metcalfe left JOHCM.
