Barclays Wealth is reissuing its Minimum Return and Protected FTSE Plans on 9 May, targeting cautious investors. The five-year Protected FTSE Plan offers a return of two times the first 25% rise in the FTSE 100, to a maximum of 50%. This is in addition to averaging over the final six months. The new version of the Plan offers a feature which locks in a 25% payout if on any day of the final year the FTSE 100 closes 25% or more above its starting level.
