The FSA will enhance its regulation for the private equity market, following an assessment of the impact that its development has on the FSA's regulation of the UK's wholesale markets. The increased regulation includes conducting a bi-annual survey on banks' exposures to leveraged buyouts, and enhancing reporting requirements for private equity firms to incorporate information on committed capital.
