Asian asset management firm Mirae Asset Global Investments is to launch a range of funds to be distributed in Europe. The Sicavs will be replicas of the existing vehicles the emerging market specialists currently distributes to Asian investors. The group has hired Hendrik Cosijn von Ripperda as head of European ex UK distribution and former Credit Suisse employee Andrew Lawley as head of UK distribution to begin pitching to retail investors.
