F&C has been promoted to the gold level of the 2008 Corporate Responsibility index, released by Business in the Community. The fund management group was previously ranked silver and is the only investment management group in the 2008 CR index. The index analyses how companies operate responsibly in regards to communities, the environment, their employees, suppliers, customers and consumers.
