Bramdean Alternatives, the private equity and hedge fund of funds managed by Nicola Horlick, has received an approach about a buy up of the company. Its broker Cenkos Securities confirmed the approach, but warned an offer is not guaranteed and other options are still on the table. Bramdean Alternatives is a Guernsey-listed closed ended fund with almost 50% of its portfolio in hedge funds and private equity funds, 12% in 'specialty funds' and around 30% in cash, according to its latest March factsheet.
