BlackRock has appointed Geoff Cheetham as managing director for UK account management on the institutional side. He joins from Goldman Sachs Asset Management where he was executive director for UK and Ireland institutional business. The group said at BlackRock he will focus on managing relationships with top-tier institutional clients. Before working at Goldman Sachs, Cheetham spent three years at HSB as head of UK distribution.
