Richard Royds, head of UK retail at BlackRock, has been replaced by Alex Hoctor-Duncan in a group management reshuffle. Hoctor-Duncan will be responsible for sales, marketing and distribution of BlackRock’s range of retail funds in the UK, while Royds has been appointed head of BlackRock’s international retail client programme. Hoctor-Duncan has headed the BlackRock UK retail sales division for the last three years. Meanwhile, Tony Stenning has been appointed managing director of the unit trust business for UK retail.
