JO Hambro Investment Management (Johim) has hired Charles Bathurst as head of fund distribution. He joins from Old Mutual Asset Management (Omam) where he was director of international distribution for its range of long only and single strategy hedge funds. Overall he has 20 years of product development and distribution. Bathurst will replace Imogen Wood who left the firm in August to pursue interests outside of the industry. His role at Johim will be to oversee the distribution of its range of Waverton funds and alternative investment range.
