Old Broad Street Research (OBSR) has downgraded Invesco Perpetual's Asian fund from AA to A, due to fierce competition within the sector. OBSR says considering the fund's sector peers and in acknowledgement of its long-term track record, it believes an A rating is more appropriate at this time. The ratings agency has also reviewed Fidelity's South East Asia fund, changing the rating from an A to AA following their increased conviction in the fund. The fund's investment approach is described by the agency as being "flexible", whilst the emphasis is "primarily on bottom-up stock selection...
