Industry veteran Richard Hambro has died following a lengthy battle with cancer. The 62-year-old founder of J O Hambro Investment Management, who was also a non-executive director of Money Portal, died at his home on 25 April. He stepped down as chairman of Money Portal in March, a position he had held for five years, as his health deteriorated. Hambro, along with his brothers James and Rupert, set up JOHIM after his father, Joscelyn, sold the family stake in JO Hambro bank in 1986.
