Three themes to power SRI returns over next decade

Peter Michaelis, head of Alliance Trust Investments' SRI business, has outlined three themes which will shape the performance of his £1.2bn seven-strong fund range over the next decade.

Michaelis, who joined ATI at the end of August as it completed a £1m acquisition of Aviva Investors’ SRI business, has outlined climate change, quality of life and sustainable consumption as the fastest growing areas in the sustainable investment market.  The manager has positioned his SRI range around these three themes, predominately in under-researched small-cap firms, which he believes offer greater upside potential than FTSE 100 peers.
