Q&A with Lazard's Jai Jacob

Lazard Asset Management is planning a fund located in Ireland, based on the group's $500m multi-asset class emerging markets investment program, which has run in a US-based portfolio since mid-2009.

Manager Jai Jacob and Lazard AM’s teams will invest across cash, equities, long and short fixed income including debt and credit, FX, options, and interest rate derivatives. Jacob explained to David Walker the strategy, and how it compares with fund of fund approaches to multi-strategy investing.
