Having begun his investment career at Baring Asset Management in 1987, Mark Pignatelli developed a bespoke investment philosophy and process as head of the group’s European investment team. He moved to Schroders in 2000 as head of Europe and subsequently chief investment officer, before joining Smith & Williamson in 2008.
