As international equities investors, we feel the time is right to draw attention to the fact that the equity bull has been rampant in developed markets for eight years now.

The bear seems to be hibernating - or perhaps it has just moved into emerging markets. This is where opportunities may lie ahead.  Developed market investors have enjoyed good returns in the period, particularly in the US where the Nasdaq Composite index has provided about twice the average annual stockmarket rate of return since 1928.
