Indonesia has been the darling of the Asian investment community for the last few years.

This has continued throughout the latest spell of market turbulence, with the market falling only 4% in sterling terms over the last 12 months, compared to declines of 10%, 11%, 15% and 25% respectively for leading Asian markets China, Korea, Taiwan and India.  Sterling investors in the index have made four times their money since the lows of 2008.
