May saw a drop off in the number of structured products launched into the market, with 33 being added to website structuredretailproducts.com's database over the month. This is down from the typical 40 per month launched since January and down from 55 launched in April. This brings the total number of products with strike dates this year up to 300, according to the data provider. Combined the products have an estimated total gross sales volume of £2.95bn.
