Odey Asset Management is looking to set up an offshore version of its soon-to-be-launched onshore Japan fund in its ongoing strategy of European expansion. The fund will be a Dublin Ucits structure with a E25,000 minimum investment and a 1.5% annual fee. The timescale has not yet been finalised but it will take place over the next few months. Fund manager Alex Griffiths will be using the long-only side of the company's long/short Japan fund.
