The Department of Work and Pensions (DWP) White Paper sets out the Government's proposals for tackling the pensions crisis. Encouraging everyone to save for retirement is a welcome move, as is the Government's endorsement of workplace pensions. The National Pensions Savings Scheme vehicle or personal accounts, appear to be the favoured vehicle to provide a simple way for people to take responsibility for building their retirement income.
