Redtower Asset Management has launched a Global Macro hedge fund, seeking to outperform via currency pair trades. Up to 80% of the portfolio will be emerging market currencies including Asia and Latin America. The vehicle is aimed at institutional investors and fund of funds. It will be co-managed by Redtower chairman Gerry Celaya and Jane Foley. Celaya previously held senior roles at Bank of America while Foley was formerly director of FX research at Barclays Capital.
