London-based alternative firm Cumulus is the latest to launch a socially responsible hedge mandate. Cumulus Climate is a long/short equity portfolio, which seeks to profit from the financial impact of climate change. Targeting annual returns of 15%-20%, the portfolio launched on 5 February and is headed up by James Hulse. Its investment universe includes environmental, energy, agricultural, consumer and industrial stocks.
