JPMorgan, Merrill Lynch and Baillie Gifford are leading the nominations for this year's Investment Week Investment Trust of the Year awards, with all three also fighting out the group awards with Premier and Martin Currie. The winners in all 12 categories will be announced at a black tie ceremony at the Savoy Hotel in London on 22 November. Competition in the UK category was particularly fierce this year, with stal-warts Perpetual Growth & Income and Lowland competing against Artemis Alpha, JPMorgan Mid Cap, Hansa Trust and Glasgow Income.
