The one-time Aberdeen European Champions fund has outperformed its peers over three years even after a rebranding and change of manager
Despite the loss of its original manager, a restructure of the European desk and a name change, the £7.8m Aberdeen European Opportunities fund has marginally outperformed its peer group over the three years since its launch in April 2001. In the three-year period to 10 May 2004, the fund is ranked 31 out of 86 in the IMA Europe ex-UK sector, after registering a return of -20.46%, on an offer-to-bid basis, compared to the sector average of -20.87%.
