Schroders AsiaPacific fund manager Matthew Dobbs is cautious on China in the short-term but believes the long-term growth story remains intact. He said the next few months will be a critical time for China and although consumer spending has been resilient in recent times there is scope for it come off. "I have been underweight for a while as I am cautious on the growth and earnings there but the long-term picture has not been destroyed at all. I will be trying to put money back there."
