Malcolm Couch has taken over the role as assessor of income tax at the Isle of Man government, replacing Ian Kelly. Couch's appointment comes as the Isle of Man continues to develop its new tax strategy that will accommodate the EU Code of Conduct for Business Taxation and the introduction of a standard zero rate of income tax for businesses by 2006.
