Real estate has played an important role in the development of Eastern Europe, with strong price growth and declining yields across markets ,according to Credit Suisse's Elizabeth Eaton. Speaking at the Markets Forum in London, Eaton said Emerging Europe therefore remains positioned to deliver strong returns over the next 12 months. She said: "Domestic demand is supported by loan growth across the region, wage increases and grossly underleveraged households. Each of these factors is expected to continue to drive returns."
